Terms and Conditions

1. Field of application

1.1. These sales conditions apply:
(a) to all offers contained in this website – also known as the “site” – issued by Seatrips, headquartered in Marina de Lagos, Loja 5, 8600-780, Lagos; and
(b) to all agreements and relationships concluded between Seatrips and any customer placing orders through this website.

1.2. Seatrips only accepts orders for products through this website, subject to these sales conditions.

1.3. The general conditions of sale are the only ones that apply and supersede all other conditions, except prior agreement, express and in writing. Seatrips may occasionally modify certain provisions of its general conditions, and it is also necessary that this is re-read each time you visit the seatrips.pt website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”). We consider that when the order is validated, the customer is automatically accepting our general conditions of sale.

2. Registration and Order Process

2.1. Registration

To make your purchases through this website, you must register in advance. The data requested for registration are:

2.2. Order

2.2.1. Choice of Products
The products presented on this website are grouped by several Categories. These categories are identified in the top menu and in the left column on the website’s internal pages. By choosing one of these categories, you will have access to the category belonging to the selected area, as well as the list of products.
In each of these categories there may still be aggregated subcategories. By selecting a category or subcategory you will have access to the list of products.
The products displayed on the website that you wish to order must be placed in the shopping cart, using the “Buy” option. You can also obtain more detailed information about the products displayed by clicking on the product name to access detailed images of the same, their designations and references, characteristics, other models, etc.

2.2.2. Shopping cart
After you have placed all the products you want to order in the shopping cart, you can proceed and complete your order. For this purpose, the following steps must be observed:

If you have already logged in, you can go to Step 2.
Step 2 – Account and Billing Address;
Step 3 – Delivery address;
Step 4 – Delivery method;
Step 5 – Payment Method;
Step 6 – Confirm Order;
After confirming your order, you will receive an order receipt email.

2.2.3. Order Acceptance
Confirmation of the availability of the ordered products and acceptance of your order will be carried out by telephone or, if this is not possible, by sending a new e-mail.
Only with this acceptance by Seatrips will the agreement be formed that obliges seatrips.pt and the customer, and of which these sales conditions form part.
Seatrips may withdraw, at any time, any offer or change the price indicated until the agreement with the customer exists.
Seatrips cannot be held responsible for any typographical errors.
The images shown may not match the products.

3. Means of Payment

8. Treatment and Security of Personal Data

8.1. In compliance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law, the Seatrips customer and website user may, at any time, exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and communication of their data through the following ways: in the designated area of ​​the website by “My Account”, via www.seatrips.pt or via +351 912 435 522. If you wish to cancel your e-mail, you must do so using the e-Mail address found in our database data, otherwise we will be unable to remove it.

8.2. The customer authorizes Seatrips to automatically process the customer’s personal data, including all those disclosed at the time of registration on the website, for the purposes necessary for contracting with the customer, managing and executing purchases and respective registrations, access control, including the use of “cookies” technology, which can be accessed by Seatrips service providers and suppliers, namely accounting and auditing companies.

8.3. The customer authorizes Seatrips to disclose the customer’s personal data to other companies belonging to the same group or to third parties based in Portugal for advertising purposes, including direct marketing, advertising, prospecting and market analysis, however the customer may oppose such disclosure in the field on the website intended for this purpose.

9. Other Rights and Responsibilities

9.1. Username
Each registered customer will choose a Username (email) that is unique, personal and non-transferable. The password is chosen by the customer at the time of registration and must be kept secret.

9.2. Transaction Security
The Payment Methods available for collection guarantee you a payment upon delivery and, at the same time, a maximum level of security, whether made by cash or check.

9.3. Prices and Limitation on Existing Stock
Prices are shown in euros and include taxes and fees (VAT). The indicated prices are exclusive for the purchase through this site.

The availability of the products presented on the website is limited to the existing stock at any given time. Prices and other descriptions are subject to change without notice.

9.4. Ownership of Contents and Distinctive Signs
All data and content on the website, including distinctive trade marks, are the exclusive property of Seatrips or third parties and as such are protected by law.

9.6. Content Errors
Seatrips assumes no responsibility for any errors in the content of the website and the information provided. Seatrips makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the site, reserving the right to freely change the contents of the site, at any time and without prior notice.

9.8. Internet usage
Seatrips will not be responsible for damages and inconveniences arising from the use of the Internet, including, for example, as a result of the disruption or deficiency of the service and access, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses, or any case of force majeure.

9.9. Newsletter
Newsletters sent by e-mail are intended for the dissemination of promotions and general information about Seatrips. The customer may receive the Newsletter as soon as he registers for the Newsletter or on the website, as long as he does not indicate otherwise in the registration form.

10. Legislation and Forum

Any agreements and documents to which these sales conditions apply are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes arising from any agreements or documents to which these conditions of sale apply will be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal.

11. Cancellation Policy

All our tours are subject to good weather and sea conditions. 

All our tours require a minimum number of participants.
If the trip is canceled due a lack of  minimum number of passengers or due to poor sea conditions, the customer will be refunded in full.

We only accept cancellations  24 hours before departure.

12. Disclaimer

This tour is not  recommended  to pregnant ladies or customers with back injuries.
Minimum age recommended is 1year old.
All our tours are subject to good sea and weather conditions.

The Tour Operator and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may occur in the course of a tour. This includes incidences, which may occur as a result of certain risks during the course of a tour. These risks include but are not limited to faulty sidewalk and boarding pontoon conditions, rock falling off cliff, etc. Tour Operator and their respective employees, agents, representatives, and assigns accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or any other incident which may be caused by the negligence, defect, default of any company or person in performing these services. Responsibility is not accepted for losses, injury, damages or expenses of any kind due to sickness, weather, strikes, hostilities, wars, terrorist acts, acts of nature, local laws or other such causes. All services are subject to the laws and regulations of the country in which they are provided. Tour Operator is not responsible for any baggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours arranged by Tour Operator.
